Azzy “The Show Boat”
Our resident ““Pretty Boy”. From being a fancy show horse and picking up many a wide ribbon and rosette at shows to now cruising around the high country, he is definitely enjoying his new slower pace of life. Less make up needed!
Tony “Old Soul”
Tony came to us early this year from a station in North Canterbury where he was a solid mustering horse. He is a true old man, minds his own business, plods along and keeps all the other young horses in line. His mission, to keep his rider safe and make sure he’s the first one in line for snacks!
Dream “The Movie Star”
Dream has been with us on the station for 8 years looking after many a shepherd mustering the valley floors. He is in his golden years and is the most kind and honest boy. He has even been a lead horse on the Disney blockbuster “Mulan”.
Buddy - “The Boss”
A firm favourite of our lead guide Penny so if you get this beautiful solid boy you are very lucky indeed. He has a wonderful walk and will guide you around the high country is style and with purpose!
Herb - “The Gentleman”
Herb came to the station 5 years ago and has done 4 seasons of cattle mustering, mainly carrying our head shepherds as he is so reliable and doesn’t blink an eye at any situation. He loves food so if you have an apple in your pocket be prepared for an inspection.
Mickey “Small but Mighty”
Mickey is a sweet wee man who has come from our station where he did two seasons of cattle mustering, so knows the area well and loves a good river crossing often dipping his nose in the water!
